And next up in the Races of Medan series... the Naga!
I love the Medani naga, I really do. They're flashy, they're not the least bit shy, and they're pretty passionate about life in general. Most of the guys I draw (Onan, for example) are also very gung-ho about being proud warriors and all. Their main opponants are a bat-like race known as the Ghasul who would like nothing better that to take over naga territory.
The naga don't go above ground very often, so a lot of them have something of a fascination with beings from up there.
And yep, naga guys outnumber the naga ladies... so being flashy and attracting attention is practically a way of life for the naga males. This particular naga male is Suna, who's shown up before in a few pics with Onan. I've been trying to stick to non-characters for the Races series, but Suna just kinda snuck in there (attention seekers, every one!).
This is just the background for the naga of my fantasy world, Medan. If you're looking for the "real" mythology about naga, you'll want to look into the Hindu and Buddhist traditions (or hit Wikipedia as a starting point).
You wake up one day and your one of the four races and you have total amnesia on all of it.
wbu?
The data I wanted, thanks. All I found was (u know) "fantasies"
Perhaps I was a naga in a past life...
